Which mystery box VIP program is worth $2,500 a month?

RillaBox, LuxDrop and EmpireDrop now run VIP programs with lossback, weekly boxes and a personal host. We read all three rate cards, asked the operators, and sorted out which one fits which kind of high roller, and where the catch is.

  • RillaBox publishes the clearest ladder. Core starts at $2,500 deposited a month for up to 5% weekly lossback. Legend is $250,000 a year for up to 25%. Our RillaBox review has the rest of the site.
  • LuxDrop counts play, not deposits. Bronze I unlocks at $2,500 of activity, and every account is on the ladder from day one. Background in our LuxDrop 2.0 post.
  • EmpireDrop is invite-only. You apply through a Google Form, there is no public threshold, and the page says both ‘up to 25%’ and ‘15%’ for weekly lossback.
  • RillaBox and EmpireDrop promise physical gifts. RillaBox named AirPods Max, a Cartier Love bracelet and an iPhone 17 Pro to us. EmpireDrop says a gift every three months.
  • Lossback softens the edge, it does not remove it. 25% back on a 90% pack is roughly 92.5% back overall.
  • Cases.gg, HypeDrop, PackDraw and Boxed.gg have no VIP tiers. They run levels and rakeback instead. Our ranking of mystery box sites shows where each one sits.

VIP programs used to be a casino thing. Now three sites on our list run one, and we think that is good news for players who deposit real money.

We asked all three. RillaBox answered in detail. LuxDrop’s rate card is public and its tier breakdown is on the site. EmpireDrop keeps the numbers behind an application form.

This is a map for players who already put four or five figures a month through a site: what that buys, and what it does not.

Infographic: deposit or wager leads to a tier, which forks into lossback, a weekly box and a host with gifts, all of which still carry a house edge

How we read a VIP program

Every program here has the same four parts. An entry threshold. A lossback or rakeback percentage. A recurring free box. And a human you can message.

The differences are in the thresholds, and in what is actually written down.

The number that matters most is lossback: a refund on your net losses for the week, paid as site credit.

On a pack that pays back about 90% on average, 25% lossback lifts that to roughly 92.5%. 5% lifts it to 90.5%.

So the ladder softens the edge. It never removes it. Remember that when a host tells you how close you are to the next tier.

Honest take: a VIP tier is a discount on losing. For a player who was going to deposit anyway, that discount is real money. For everyone else it is not a reason to start.

RillaBox RILLAVIP: the one with the numbers

RillaBox’s program is new. In January the site had no public VIP page. By late September it had a full one, a week after our RillaBox review went up.

It is called RILLAVIP, and it qualifies you by deposits, not by wagers. That is the simplest rule of the three: you know where you stand.

RillaBox RILLAVIP page showing the Standard to Core progress bar, $2,500 until Core, and the six perk tiles

The ladder is public. Core needs $2,500 deposited a month and pays up to 5% weekly lossback, plus a weekly reward box and a badge.

Elite is $7,500 a month for up to 10%. This is where the 1-to-1 host and the gifts start.

Prestige is $100,000 a year for up to 15%. Legend is $250,000 a year for up to 25%.

RillaBox RILLAVIP ranking table: Core $2,500 monthly for up to 5% lossback, Elite $7,500 for 10%, Prestige $100,000 yearly for 15%, Legend $250,000 yearly for 25%

Each tier has a grace period before you drop: 7 days at Core, 14 at Elite, 30 at Prestige, a manual host review at Legend. A quiet month does not cost you the tier on day one.

The weekly reward box is advertised as ‘up to $10,000’, with a different box per tier.

RillaBox told us the lossback and the weekly box both unlock every Monday at 12:00 UTC, and that the host sits on Telegram or Discord.

They also named recent gifts: AirPods Max, a Cartier Love bracelet, an iPhone 17 Pro. We have not seen one ourselves, so file that under their word.

Two things to read once. Every percentage says ‘up to’. And the FAQ defines lossback as a share of net weekly losses ‘based on your overall account activity’, so the host has some room.

Honest take: RILLAVIP is the easiest program to judge because it is written down. $2,500 a month for 5% back plus a weekly box is a fair deal for a regular depositor.

The real step is Elite, where a human shows up.

Below VIP, our RillaBox races guide covers the free money the site hands out to everyone, and the RillaBox promo codes get you the free box on sign-up.

LuxDrop VIP: everyone is in from day one

LuxDrop rebuilt its program with LuxDrop 2.0 on April 23, 2026. We covered the launch in our LuxDrop 2.0 write-up.

The old four-tier version needed $10,000 deposited a month just for Bronze. It is gone. Now every account starts on the ladder and climbs by playing.

LuxDrop VIP progress card for our test account: 7.88% of the way from Regular to Bronze I

There are 11 tiers, each split into four sub-levels. Bronze I needs $2,500 of activity, Bronze IV $10,000. Silver starts at $15,000, Gold at $45,000, Platinum at $120,000, Titanium at $255,000, Emerald at $490,000.

After that the ladder is for whales: Ruby $1.04m, Diamond $2.2m, Obsidian $5.2m, Uranium $14m, Supernova $39m, and Supernova IV at $89m.

LuxDrop VIP tier breakdown for Bronze: Bronze I needs $2,500 of activity, Bronze II $5,000, Bronze III $7,500, Bronze IV $10,000

What each tier adds: a level-up bonus and instant rakeback from Bronze, a weekly bonus from Silver, a monthly bonus and deposit bonuses from Gold.

Titanium raises the bonuses. Emerald adds the dedicated VIP host. Everything above that stacks more of the same.

LuxDrop VIP benefits table: level-up bonus and instant rakeback from Bronze, weekly bonus from Silver, monthly and deposit bonus from Gold, bonus increase from Titanium, VIP host from Emerald

What the page does not print: the rakeback percentage or the size of the weekly and monthly bonuses. The grid shows ticks, not numbers, so ask support before you plan around them.

In our own LuxDrop test, $187 of play moved our bar to 7.88% of Bronze I. The ladder rewards volume, but it rewards everyone, and that is the point of ‘everyone is a VIP’.

If I were a steady LuxDrop player, I would like this design. No deposit target hanging over the month, just play and climb. I would still get the rakeback percentage from support in writing.

EmpireDrop VIP Club: apply first, numbers later

EmpireDrop was one of the first mystery box sites with a VIP program, and it still works the old-school way. Our EmpireDrop review covers the rest of the site.

You fill in a Google Form. The team reviews your deposits, wagers and activity. The FAQ says VIP status on other sites and online casinos counts in your favour.

EmpireDrop VIP Club perk tiles: up to 25% weekly lossback, daily free VIP box, VIP gift every 3 months, personalized events, VIP host, VIP badge

The perks on paper are the richest of the three. Up to 25% weekly lossback. A daily free VIP box. A VIP gift every three months, ‘from iPhone, to Rolex, to Sports Cars’.

Plus events run by your host, a daily deposit bonus of up to EUR 1,000 assigned by the manager, and a birthday bonus.

Now the odd part. The same page says ‘up to 25% weekly lossback’ at the top and ‘a 15% cashback on weekly losses’ in the FAQ. There is no entry threshold anywhere.

Below the VIP Club sits the public rank ladder, which pays 0.25% rakeback up to Gold. That is what we got in our test: $0.89 on $59 of play.

EmpireDrop VIP Club: invite a new VIP and earn up to 10,000 euro per player, and the Google Form application button

One more line worth knowing. EmpireDrop pays existing VIPs EUR 500 for every EUR 50,000 a referred VIP wagers in their first month, up to EUR 10,000 per player.

If a VIP friend is pushing you to join, that is why.

Trustpilot sits at 2.5 from 208 reviews, with repeated complaints about bonus-balance terms and bans. A 15% lossback does not help if the account gets closed.

Honest take: EmpireDrop may well treat an accepted high roller very well. Get the lossback percentage, the daily bonus and the gift schedule from your manager in writing on day one.

The score and rank in the last row are ours, from our mystery box sites ranking. They rate the whole site, not the VIP desk.

Which program fits which high roller

You deposit a fixed amount every month. RillaBox. The deposit thresholds, percentages and grace periods are printed, so you can plan the month.

You play a lot on a flat bankroll. LuxDrop. It is the only one that counts play instead of deposits, so a steady player climbs without a monthly deposit target.

You want a human on Telegram. RillaBox from Elite at $7,500 a month, or EmpireDrop from day one if the form goes through. On LuxDrop the host lives at Emerald.

You care about gifts. EmpireDrop promises one every three months. RillaBox leaves it to the host. Both are their word, not ours.

You put $500 a month through a site. None of these yet. Use the level boxes and rakeback every site hands out, and read our ranking first.

The fine print, in one place

  • ‘Up to’ appears before every lossback figure on all three sites.
  • RillaBox lossback is paid on net weekly losses ‘based on your overall account activity’, which is not a fixed formula.
  • EmpireDrop’s terms say bonuses and free features can carry wagering requirements, be capped, and be withdrawn without notice.
  • LuxDrop’s VIP page prints ticks, not numbers. Ask support for the rakeback percentage.
  • Tiers fall. RillaBox gives 7 to 30 days of grace. LuxDrop and EmpireDrop do not say.
  • Lossback is site credit, not a withdrawal. It gets played again.

A VIP program is still a pack-opening site with a rebate attached. Packs are entertainment, and the house keeps its edge at every tier.

If the spending stops feeling like fun, GambleAware is free and confidential.

Our take on mystery box VIP programs

RillaBox wrote its program down, and for a high roller comparing options that is worth more than any single perk.

LuxDrop built the widest and friendliest ladder, open to everyone from the first pack. EmpireDrop promises the most and documents the least.

If you qualify anywhere, ask for the numbers in writing before the first deposit, and ask what happens to your tier in a quiet month. The sites that answer plainly are the ones worth the money.
